*HYMN 462 Jesus Loves Me

*THE PRAYER OF THE DAY and THE LORD’S PRAYER (unison) Breanne Sherman

Lord God, you made us all from the dust of the earth, and you make us all one in your son Jesus Christ. Yet, we divide ourselves from you and from each other. We fail to truly see and hear each other, and choose instead to simplify and caricature each other. Lord open us to your presence in the other. Help us to enter into the lives of those around us, to be fully present with them, and come to understand them. We ask this in the name of your son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who taught us to pray:

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

*THE GLORIA PATRI (Hymn 558)

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen, Amen.
