*HYMN 431 Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us
*THE PRAYER OF THE DAY and THE LORD’S PRAYER (unison)
God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of an eternal covenant, make us perfect in goodness so that we may do your will; and create in us what is pleasing to you. Revealing God, you show us who Jesus truly is. Help us hear his voice more clearly through this time of worship. Gather us as his flock so we may be safe in his care and hear us as we pray:
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
*THE GLORIA PATRI (Hymn 558)
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost;
As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen, Amen.
