CHORAL INTROIT

*THE INVOCATION AND THE LORD’S PRAYER (unison)                                  Rev. Robert J. Brink

Almighty and eternal God, the strength of those who believe and the hope of those who doubt, may we, who have not seen, have faith and receive the fullness of Christ’s blessing, who is alive and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever and who taught us to say:

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.  Amen.

The Pilgrim Choir Anthem

God, Grant Me to be Silent
Sir Paul Reeves

God, grant me to be silent before you, that I may hear you;
God grant me to be at rest in you, that you may work in me;
God grant me to be open to you, that you may enter;
God grant to me to be empty before you, that you may fill me.
Let me be still, and know you are my God. Amen.
