CALL TO WORSHIP Joel 2:13 Rev.
Samuel R. Schaal
Liturgist: Return
to the Lord your God.
People: for God is gracious and
merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love.
ALL: We
return to the Lord our God with grateful and open hearts. Amen.

*THE PRAYER OF INVOCATION AND THE LORD’S PRAYER
(unison)
God of compassion, you are slow to anger, and full of mercy,
welcoming sinners who return to you with penitent hearts. Receive in your
loving embrace all who come home to you. Seat them at your bountiful table of
grace, that, with all your children, they may feast with delight on all that
satisfies the hungry heart. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever
and ever and who taught us to call to you, saying:
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom
come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily
bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not
into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the
power, and the glory, forever.
Amen

Anthem
Laudamus
Welsh
Chorale, Pantycelyn
Unto Thee all
praise be given,
King of Kings
and Lord of Lords:
Heaven and
earth proclaim Thy glory,
And the
wonders of Thy works.
Songs of
praises, songs of praises,
We will give
Thee evermore.
In Thy mercy
Thou dost save us,
And from harm
Thou'lt keep us free:
When
temptations dire assail us,
We shall
always look to Thee.
Songs of
praises, songs of praises,
We will give
Thee evermore.
In Thy power
we ever glory,
In Thy
strength we shall endure:
Leaning on
Thy gracious mercy,
And Thy
precious love so pure.
Songs of
praises, Songs of praises,
We will give
Thee evermore.
