*PRAYER OF INVOCATION AND LORD’S PRAYER (unison)

God of unchangeable power, when you fashioned the world the morning stars sang together and the host of heaven shouted for joy. Open our eyes to the wonders of creation and teach us to use all things for good, that we may serve you in the service of others, to the honor of your glorious name; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit and who taught us to pray…

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;

and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not

into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom,

and the power, and the glory, forever.  Amen.

Go now in peace. Never be afraid.

God will go with you each hour of every day.

Go now in faith, steadfast, strong and true.

Know He will guide you in all you do.

Go now in love, and show you believe.

Reach out to others so all the world can see.

God will be there, watching from above.

Go now in peace, in faith, and in love.

Junior Choir Anthem

A Song of Angels

Arr. Horman

I looked over Jordan and what did I see

Comin’ for to carry me home,

A band of angels comin’ after me

Comin’ for to carry me home.

All night, all day,

Angels watch-in’ over me, my Lord.

All night, all day,

Angels watch-in’ over me.

Chatter with the angels soon in the morning,

Chatter with the angels all day long.

Chatter with the angels soon in the morning,

Chatter with the angels all day long.

Dance, dance, dance on the head of a pin.

Come on in and tell me,

“How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?

Come on in.

I looked over Jordan and what did I see,

Angels watch-in’ over me.

Build Thee More Stately Mansions

Oliver Wendell Homes

Build thee more stately mansions, O my soul!

As the swift seasons roll!

Leave thy low vaulted past!

Let each new temple, nobler than the last,

Shut thee from heaven with a dome more vast,

Till thou at length art free,

Leaving thine outgrown shell by life's unresting sea!

Build thee more stately mansions, O my soul!
