*INVOCATION
AND THE LORD’S PRAYER (unison)
Eternal
God, open our eyes to see your hand at work in the splendor of creation and in
the beauty of human life. Touched by your hand, our world is holy. Help us to
cherish the gifts that surround us, to share our blessings with our sisters and
brothers, and to experience the joy of life in your presence; through Jesus
Christ our Lord, who taught us to pray:
Our Father who art in
heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done, on
earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our
debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not
into temptation, but
deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the
glory, forever. Amen.
