*INVOCATION AND THE LORD’S PRAYER (unison)

O Lord, our God, gather us in from our hectic lives. Gather us in from our politics. Gather us in from our work and our play. Gather our wandering minds and bring us together by the power of your Holy Spirit. Unite us into one church, the body of our Lord Jesus Christ, who taught us to pray:

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;

and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not

into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom,

and the power, and the glory, forever.  Amen.
