*PRAYER OF INVOCATION AND THE LORD’S PRAYER (unison)

Living God, for whom no door is closed, no heart is locked, draw us beyond our doubts,
till we see your Christ and touch his wounds where they bleed in others. This we ask
 through Christ our Savior, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, and taught
 us to pray, saying:

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;

and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not

into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom,

and the power, and the glory, forever.  Amen.

PSALMODY (sung to the tune Germany)                                                                 Psalm 133

How good when all the earth is one, and hearts embrace community;

When strife will cease to separate, and love binds all in unity.

As oil anointed Aaron’s head, and dew adorns the mountainside,

So peace and blessing of the Lord, within the faithful heart abide.

God our creator, source and sustainer,

Ground of our being, light of our day;

God of all wisdom, goodness and beauty,

Met at Your altar, humbly we pray.

God our creator finish creating,

Bring to completion the work now begun,

Till all unlike You meets transformation,

God and creation molded as one.

God of all sources, grant us Your wisdom;

God of all beauty, help us to see You,
