*THE CHORAL CALL TO WORSHIP
*THE PRAYER OF INVOCATION
AND LORD’S PRAYER (unison)
O
God, who before the passion of your only-begotten Son revealed his glory upon
the holy
mountain: Grant to us that we,
beholding by faith the light of his countenance, may be
strengthened to bear our cross, and be changed into his likeness from glory to
glory; through
Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives
and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever
and ever, and who taught us to pray saying:
Our Father who art in
heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done, on
earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our
debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not
into temptation, but
deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the
glory, forever. Amen.

Praise Ye the Lord
Hugo Distler
Praise ye the Lord, the Almighty,
the King of creation;
Praise him, my soul, for he is
thy strength and salvation.
Sing for his sake! Psalt’ry and
harp awake! Awake! Awake!
Sound forth in glad adoration.
Praise ye the Lord who doth guide
thee,
Surely his goodness and mercy
shall ever attend thee;
Ponder anew, what the Almighty
can do,
Who with his love doth befriend thee.
Pilgrim Choir 8:45
Sing Them Over Again to Me
Arr. Gilbert M. Martin
Sing them over to me, wonderful words of life;
Let me more of their beauty see, wonderful words of life.
Words of life and beauty teach me faith and duty;
Beautiful words, wonderful words, wonderful words of life,
Beautiful words wonderful words, wonderful words of life.
Christ, the blessed
One, gives to all wonderful words of life;
Sinner, list to the
loving call, wonderful
words of life.
All so freely given, wooing us to
heaven:
Beautiful words, wonderful words
wonderful words of life,
Beautiful words, wonderful words,
wonderful words of life.
Sweetly echo the gospel call
wonderful words of life.
Offer pardon and peace to all,
wonderful words of life.
Jesus, only Savior, sanctify
forever:
Beautiful words, wonderful words,
wonderful words of life.
Chancel Choir 11:00
O Be Joyful
Jubilate Deo
O be joyful in the Lord all ye lands:
Serve the Lord with gladness,
and come before His presence with a song;
Be ye sure that the Lord He is God;
It is He that hath made us, and not we ourselves,
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
O go your way into His gates with thanksgiving,
and into His courts with praise;
Be thankful unto Him, and speak good of His name.
Praise and glory be to the Father,
Praise and glory be to His name,
Glory be to the Father Almighty.
Let His name be praised forever,
let His name be praised forever,
glory to God and praise His name. Amen.
