People: so
the good news can sing through the world.
Liturgist: The
Holy One calls us to live the
gospel
People: so
the good news can dance through the world.

Holy One calls us to be

AND LORD’S PRAYER (unison)
All-loving
God, we acknowledge that too many times, we expect others to conform to our way
of being,
or thinking, or speaking. Too
seldom are we willing to reach out to our neighbors in their own language,
culture and understandings.
Transform us through your compassionate forgiveness and conform us to
your image, in all our diversity
of thought and word and act, that we may be true sisters and brothers of
even those who are unlike us. We
reach out with compassion to others in the example of Jesus, who taught
us to pray:
Our Father who art in
heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done, on
earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our
debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not
into temptation, but
deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the
glory, forever. Amen.

And in this

And there's

And in this

Forth In
Thy Name
Charles
Wesley
Forth in Thy
Name, O Lord, I go,
My daily
labor to pursue,
My one
resolve is Thee to know,
In all I
think, or speak, or do.
My task Thy
wisdom hath assigned,
Oh, let me
cheerfully fulfill,
May all my
works Thy presence fill,
And prove Thy
good and perfect will.
I set me down
at Thy right hand,
Thine eyes my
inmost substance see;
I labor on at
Thy command,
And offer all
my works to Thee.
I gladly bear
Thy easy yoke,
And every
moment watch and pray,
And still to
things eternal look,
And hasten to
that glorious day!
For Thee I
gratefully employ
What're Thy
bounteous grace hath given,
And run my
course with even joy,
and closely
walk with Thee to heaven.

In Praise
of God
Traditional
Alleluia! Praise God from whom all blessings flow;
Praise him, all creatures here below;
Praise him above, ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
Alleluia! Amen.
Be Thou My
Vision
(Variants on
an Irish hymn)
Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;
Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art.
Thou my best thought, by day or by night,
Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.
Be Thou my Wisdom and Thou my true Word;
I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;
Thou my great Father and I Thy true son;
Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.
High King of Heaven, my victory won,
May I reach heaven's joys, O bright heaven's Sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all. Amen.
