Almighty
God, you have built your church on the foundation of the apostles and prophets,
Jesus Christ himself being the chief
cornerstone. Join us together in unity of spirit by their
teaching, that we may become a
holy temple, acceptable to you, through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who taught us to pray saying…
Our Father who art in
heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done, on
earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our
debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not
into temptation, but
deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the
glory, forever. Amen.

Let it Be
to Me
Justin Bailey
Let it be to
me according to your word:
This the song
of saints since Abram heard your call.
To count the
sand and stars and know your silent word,
Simply,
wholly knowing you as Lord of all.
Let it be to
me according to your word:
Mary speaks
for all, for you are all in all.
The pure in
heart are they who know your presence near:
Eternity is
now and Nazareth is here.
Let it be to
me according to your word.
Angels may
have greeted, may have shared a meal;
For this
world and the next are one when saints reveal
your living
image in your sons restored.
Let it be to
me according to your word:
All we hope
to be your table can afford.
Bring us with
the saints to share your glory Lord,
to hymn you,
blessed Trinity with sweet accord.
O God Of
Bethel
Philip
Doddridge
O God of
Bethel, by whose hand
Thy people
still are fed,
Who through
this weary pilgrimage
Hast all our
fathers led;
Our vows, our
prayers we now present
Before thy
throne of grace;
God of our
fathers, be the God
Of their
succeeding race.
Through each
perplexing path of life
Our wandering
footsteps guide;
Give us, each
day, our daily bread,
And raiment
fit provide.
O spread thy
covering wings around
Till all our
wanderings cease,
And at our
Father's loved abode
Our souls
arrive in peace.
Such
blessings from thy gracious hand
Our humble
prayers implore;
And thou
shalt be our chosen God,
And portion
evermore. Amen.

God Who
Touchest Earth With Beauty
Mary S. Edgar
God who
touchest earth with beauty,
Make me
lovely too.
With Thy
spirit recreate me,
Make my heart
anew,
Like Thy
springs and running waters
Make me
crystal pure.
Like Thy
rocks of towering grandeur,
Make me
strong and sure.
Like Thy
dancing waves in sunlight
Make me glad
and free.
Like the
straightness of the pine trees
Let me
upright be.
Like the
arching of the heavens,
Lift my
thoughts above.
God who
touchest earth with beauty
Make me
lovely too.
Keep me ever
by Thy spirit
Pure and
strong and true.
God who
touchest earth with beauty,
Make me
lovely too. Amen.
Let Saints
on Earth in Concert Sing
Charles
Wesley
Let saints on
earth in concert sing
With those
whose work is done;
For all the
servants of our King
In heaven and
earth are one.
One family,
we dwell in Him,
One Church,
above, beneath;
Though now
divided by the stream,
The narrow
stream of death.
Even now by
faith we join
our hands
with those that went before,
And greet the
everliving bands
On the
eternal shore.
Jesus, be
Thou our constant guide;
Then, when
the word is given,
Bid Jordan's
narrow stream divide,
And bring us
safe to Thee.
