CALL TO WORSHIP
*PRAYER OF INVOCATION AND
THE LORD’S PRAYER (unison)
Merciful God, in Jesus
Christ you do not call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Draw us away from the easy road
that leads to destruction, and guide us into paths that
lead to life abundant, that in
seeking your truth, and obeying your will, we may know the
joy of being a disciple of Jesus
Christ our Savior, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
and taught us to call to you saying:
Our Father who art in
heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done, on
earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our
debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not
into temptation, but
deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the
glory, forever. Amen.

RESPONSE
Go now
in peace. Never be afraid. God
will go with you each hour of every day.
Go now
in faith, steadfast, strong and true. Know He will guide you in all you do.
Go now
in love, and show you believe. Reach out to others so all the world can see.
God will
be there, watching from above. Go now in peace, in faith, and in love.
THE POSTLUDE Psalm
19 Marcello
*The congregation is
invited to stand.
The
flowers in the Chancel are placed by the family of
Carol Jean Santelle,
in
the certain knowledge that, whatever we have missed in her absence,
we possess together the precious, the
incommunicable past.

Welcome to all visitors joining us today. Please check the welcome tables in the Atrium for information about our church.
For those who wear a hearing aid, our Nave is equipped with an FM loop system. Simply set your hearing aid to the “T” setting.
In addition to the loop system, there is a new hearing assistance system installed in the Nave, which can amplify the worship service with the use of a receiver and headset. The headset is not usable with a hearing aid. If you would like to try this system, please ask for a receiver/headset at the church office.

O Give
Thanks to the Lord
Based on
Psalm 100, Mary Kay Beall
O give thanks
to the Lord!
Serve Him
gladly, sing His praise.
God will
bless us all our days.
O give thanks
to the Lord!
The Lord is
God; He made us,
We are His
people.
The Lord is
God, and He made us.
We belong to
Him!
O give thanks
to the Lord!
Enter His
gates with thanksgiving,
And His
courts with praise.
Bless His
holy name.
O give thanks
to the Lord!
Serve Him
gladly, sing His praise.
God will
bless us all our days.
O give thanks
to the Lord!

The
Morning Trumpet
John Leland
Oh, when
shall I see Jesus and reign with Him above?
And shall
hear the trumpet sound in the morning?
And from the
flowing fountain drink everlasting love?
And shall
hear the trumpet sound in the morning?
And shout, Oh
Glory, I shall mount above the skies,
When I hear
the trumpet sound in the morning!
But now I am
a soldier, my Captain's gone before;
He has given
me my orders and bids me ne'er give o'er,
His promises
are faithful, A righteous crown He'll give,
And all His
valiant soldiers eternally shall live.
And shout, Oh
Glory, I shall mount above the skies,
When I hear
the trumpet sound in the morning!
Through grace
I feel determined to conquer tho' I die
and then away
to Jesus on wings of love I'll fly.
Farewell to
sin and sorrow, I bid them both adieu!
And oh, my
friends prove faithful and on your way pursue.
And shout, Oh
Glory, I shall mount above the skies,
when I hear
the trumpet sound in the morning!
Oh, do not be
discouraged for Jesus is your friend,
and if you
lack for knowledge, He'll not refuse to lend,
Nor will He
upbraid you tho' often you request;
He will give
you grace to conquer and take you home to rest.
And shout,
Oh, Glory, I shall mount above the skies,
when I hear
the trumpet sound in the morning!
