Almighty God, you created the heavens and the earth, and humankind in your image.
 In every age you invite humanity into relationship and in your mercy you extend your covenant
to those who hear your voice and follow. Teach us to discern your hand in all your works and to
 serve you with reverence and thanksgiving; through Jesus Christ, the living Lord and bringer of
the New Covenant, who taught us to pray:

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;

and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not

into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom,

and the power, and the glory, forever.  Amen.

Assurance

Fanny J. Crosby

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine!

O what a foretaste of glory divine!

Heir of salvation, purchase of God,

Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood.

This is my story, this is my song,

Praising my Savior, all the day long.

Perfect submission, all is at rest,

I in my savior am happy and blest,

Watching and waiting, looking above,

Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.

This is my story, this is my song,

Praising my Savior, all the day long.

Thy Will Be Done

Joyce Elaine Eilers

Sometimes the load is heavy,

and sometimes the road is long.

and sometimes, Lord, this heart of mine

is not so very strong.

But Thy will be done, Lord,

Thy will be done.

Father, I do not ask You

to take this cup from me.

I only ask Your guidance

o'er paths I cannot see.

And Thy will be done, Lord,

Thy will be done.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,

Hallowed be Thy name,

Thy kingdom come.

Thy will be done

on earth as it is in heav'n.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts,

as we forgive our debtors.

and lead us not into temptation,

But deliver us from evil.

For Thine is the kingdom

and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

Now, Lord, I feel You near me,

I feel Your guiding pow'r.

And know You're standing by me

through ev'ry passing hour.

And Thy will be done, Lord.

Thy will be done.

I Have Longed For Thy Saving Health

Psalm 69:174,175

I have longed for Thy saving health, O Lord;

Thy law is my delight, O Lord.

O let my soul live and it shall praise Thee,

and Thy judgments shall help me.

Who Do People Say I Am?

Based on Matthew 16:13-16 and attributed to John Calvin

Who do people say I am?

Some say that you are John the Baptist, some say you are Elijah.

Who do people say I am? Some say that you are Jeremiah or one of the prophets.

And you? Who do you say I am?

You are the Christ, the Son of the living God, my Redeemer.

I greet thee, who my sure redeemer art.

My only trust and Savior of my heart.

Who pain didst undergo for my poor sake;

I pray thee from our hearts all cares to take.

Thou art the king of mercy and of grace,

Reigning omnipotent in every place;

So come, O King, and our whole being sway,

Shine on us with the light of thy pure day.

Thou art the life, by which alone we live,

And all our substance and our strength receive;

Sustain us by they faith and by thy power.

And give us strength in every trying hour.

Thou hast the true and perfect gentleness,

No harshness hast thou, and no bitterness;

O grant to us the grace we find in thee,

That we may dwell in perfect unity.

Our hope is in no other save in thee;

Our faith is built upon thy promise free;

Lord, give us peace, and make us calm and sure,

That in thy strength, in thy strength we evermore endure.

You are the Christ, the Son of the living god,

the Messiah, my Redeemer. Amen.
