CALL
TO WORSHIP Rev.
Carrie Kreps Wegenast
Left: We
gather as two or three,
Right: as
one hundred or two hundred
Left: We
gather to forgive as God forgives,
Right: to
love as God loves.
Left: We
covenant together to be the church,
Right: to
live the truth of God’s grace.
All: The
Body of Christ, alive in the world!
*HYMN 21 We
Gather Together
*INVOCATION AND LORD’S
PRAYER (unison)
We gather to sing in
unison, for we are not many, but one. We gather to sing in harmony, for we are
not one, but many. Members are we, one of another, the body of Christ, the
people of God, called by Christ to be his community, in ministry with this
sinful and hurting world. And so we pray as he taught us:
Our Father who art in
heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done, on
earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our
debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. For
Thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the
glory, forever. Amen.

For those who wear a hearing aid, our Nave is equipped with an FM loop system. Simply set your hearing aid to the “T” setting. In addition to the loop system, there is a new hearing assistance system installed in the Nave which can amplify the worship service with the use of a receiver and headset. The headset is not usable with a hearing aid. If you would like to try this system, please ask for a receiver/headset at the church office.
