*INVOCATION AND LORDÕS
PRAYER (unison)
Almighty God and
Father, your Son Jesus Christ has taught us that what we do for the least of
your children we do also for him. Give us the will to serve others as he was
the servant of all, who gave up his life and died for us, but lives and reigns
with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever and through whom we
prayÉ
Our Father who art in
heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done, on
earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our
debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not
into temptation, but
deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the
glory, forever. Amen.

CALL TO PRAYER and SILENT MEDITATION
THE
PRAYER OF PEOPLE AND MINISTER
A
PRAYER OF THE NATION (unison)
Lord God Almighty, in whose Name the founders of this country won liberty for themselves and for us, and lit the torch of freedom for nations then unborn: Grant that we and all the people of this land may have grace to maintain our liberties in righteousness and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
RESPONSE 437 verse 4 My
Country, ÔTis of Thee
Our fatherÕs God, to thee, Author of liberty,
To thee we sing;
Long may our land be bright with freedomÕs holy
