Living God, for whom no door is closed, no heart is locked, draw us beyond our doubts,

This we ask through Christ our Savior, who lives and reigns with you and taught us to prayÉ

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;

and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not

into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom,

and the power, and the glory, forever.  Amen.

THE CHURCH OFFERS THE GREAT THANKSGIVING

We Prepare to Receive the Supper

We offer the Prayer of Confession (unison)

Almighty God, in raising Jesus from the grave, you shattered the power of sin and death. We confess that we remain captive to doubt and fear, bound by the ways that lead to death. We overlook the poor and the hungry, and pass by those who mourn; we are deaf to the cries of the oppressed, and indifferent to calls for peace; we despise the weak, and abuse the earth you made. Forgive us, God of mercy. Help us to trust your power to change our lives and make us new, that we may know the joy of life abundant given in Jesus Christ, the risen Lord.

We hear the Assurance of Pardon

We remember GodÕs Mighty Acts in the Great Thanksgiving

Minister:    The Lord be with you.

People:     And also with you.

Minister:    Lift up your hearts.

People:     We lift them to the Lord.

Minister:    Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.

People:     It is right to give our thanks and praise.

{the minister continues the prayer, after we hear, who forever sing to the glory of your name we say:}

Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might, heaven and earth are full of your glory.
Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.

Hosanna in the highest.

{the prayer continues}

We share in the One Bread and the One Cup

A Joyful Psalm

Joseph M. Martin from the Psalms

Lift a joyful song to the Lord! Sing Alleluia.

Honor and glory to God, Come to the Lord with joyful songs.

God Himself is with us. Let us now adore Him

and with awe appear before Him.

God is in His temple, all within keep silence,

and before Him bow with reverence.

Praise God above the heavens.

Rejoice in the house of God.

Praise Ye the Lord. All people praise the Lord.

Let worship fill His courts forevermore.

Come sing alleluia unto the Lord.

Praise Him for His mercy endureth forever. Alleluia!

Lift a joyful song to the Lord! Sing Alleluia.

Honor and glory to God,

Come to the Lord with joyful songs.

God Himself is present; hear the angels singing.

See them bow, their praise now bringing.

"Holy, holy, holy!" sing the hosts of heaven.

Praise to God be ever given.

O give ear to us, hear; O Christ,

the praises that your church now raises.

Praise ye the Lord!

Behold, Now Praise The Lord

Psalm 134

Behold, now praise the Lord, ye servants of the Lord, behold.

Ye that by night stand in the house of the Lord, even in the house of the Lord our God.

Lift up your hands in His holy Temple and praise the Lord,The Lord that make heaven and earth, give thee blessing out of Sion.
