CALL
TO WORSHIP Psalm 95
Liturgist: O come, let us sing to the LORD; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our
salvation!
People: Let
us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful
noise
to him with songs of praise!
Liturgist: For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
his
also. The sea is his, for he made it, and the dry land, which his hands
have
formed.
Liturgist: O come, let us worship and
bow down, let us kneel before the LORD, our
Maker!
All: For
he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of
his
hand. O that today you would listen to his voice!

*CHORAL CALL TO WORSHIP
*PRAYER OF INVOCATION AND
LORDÕS PRAYER (unison)
We thirst for water, O
Lord, until our parched souls murmur against one another. Fountain of life,
soothe our spirits. Let us draw from your water, that we shall never again have
to drink from the shallow well whose waters are bitter. Lead us in your ways
and refresh us with your presence as your Son promised and as we prayÉ
Our Father who art in
heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as
it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and
forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
forever. Amen.

If Thou
But Suffer God to Guide Thee, Georg Neumark, 1640
If thou but
suffer God to guide thee,
And hope in
Him through all thy ways,
He'll give
thee strength, whate'er betide thee,
And bear thee
through the evil days;
Who trusts in
God's unchanging love
Builds on the
Rock that naught can move.
Only be still
and wait His leisure
In cheerful
hope, with heart content
To take
whate'er thy Father's pleasure,
And all
discerning love hath sent;
Nor doubt our
inmost wants are known.
To Him who
chose us for His own.
Sing, pray,
and keep His ways unswerving;
In all thy
labor faithful be,
And trust His
Word, though undeserving,
Thou yet
shalt find it true for thee;
God never yet
forsook in need.
The soul that
trusts in Him indeed.
Canticle:
For All The Saints, Ecclesiasticus
44
Let us sing
of famous ones, and our parents that begat us,
Such as did
bear rule in their lifetimes,
and were
renowned for their power.
Leaders of
the people by their counsels,
And by their
knowledge,
Such as found
out musical tunes and recited verses in writing:
All these
were honored in their generations,
and were the
glory of their times.
And some
there be which have no memorial;
who are
perished as though they had never been.
Their bodies
are buried in peace,
but their
names liveth forevermore.
For all the
saints who from their labors rest,
Who thee by
faith before the world confessed,
Thy name, O
Jesus, be forever blest. Alleluia! Alleluia!
O blest communion,
fellowship divine!
We feebly
struggle, they in glory shine;
Yet all are
one in thee, for all are thine. Alleluia! Alleluia!
From earth's
wide bounds, from ocean's farthest coast,
Through gates
of pearl streams in the countless host,
Singing to
Father, Son, and Holy Ghost; Alleluia! Alleluia! Amen!
