Creating and sustaining God, you have made us in your image and placed within us the spark of divinity; fan the spark to flame within us that we may be people who are blessed, loving justice, doing kindness, and walking humbly with you, as was Jesus who taught us to say...

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;

and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever.  Amen.

Go now in peace. Never be afraid.

God will go with you each hour of every day.

Go now in faith, steadfast, strong and true.

Know He will guide you in all you do.

Go now in love, and show you believe.

Reach out to others so all the world can see.

God will be there, watching from above.

Go now in peace, in faith, and in love.

With Miriam we will dance

and celebrate the day

when sullen seas were swept apart

to show the way.

The dancers lend us grace

to turn from seas of fear

towards the unknown wilderness -

for God is there.

With Mary we will wait

when even hope seems dead

when others rush down roads they say

we may not tread.

And waiting, strong and still

through all our grief and pain

we hear the whisper of GodŐs will -

we hear our name.

With Constance we will stand

for what we know is right

in answer to GodŐs just demand

and searching sight,

confronting each abuse

that strangles liberty,

God help us simply state the truth

that sets us free.

Made whole, the human race

may answer to GodŐs call

in dance and silence, truth and grace,

embracing all.

This journey never ends,

GodŐs promise calls us on,

until our sisters, brothers, friends

may join the song.

Be Calm And Peaceful, George W. Kemmer, from the original German "Gieb dich zufrieden und sei stille"

Be calm and peaceful and trust in God,

On His bounteous love relying.

In Him true joy and peace abides,

Without Him vain is striving.

He is our Friend and Guide, our Saviour,

Who leads to life eternal. In Him is true peace.

He knows our needs and will comfort us

When we humbly ask His guidance.

Trust, and no ills overwhelm thee:

always in His love believing.

He is our Hope, our Strength, Life giver,

Who leads us on to the perfect life. Alleluia!

Sine Nomine, William W. How

For all the saints, who from their labors rest, who thee by faith before the world confessed, thy Name, O Jesus, be forever blessed. Alleluia, Alleluia!

Thou wast their Rock, their Fortress and their Might; thou, Lord, their Captain in the well fought fight; thou, in the darkness drear, their one true Light. Alleluia, Alleluia!

O may thy soldiers, faithful, true, and bold, fight as the saints who nobly fought of old, and win, with them the victor's crown of gold. Alleluia, Alleluia!

And when the strife is fierce, the warfare long, steals on the ear the distant triumph song, and hearts are brave, again, and arms are strong. Alleluia, Alleluia!

From earth's wide bounds, from ocean's farthest coast, through gates of pearl streams in the countless host, and singing to Father, Son and Holy Ghost:

Alleluia, Alleluia!

Peace Is Our Prayer, Larry Shackley

Lord, grant us peace in this troubled day,

when hearts are fearful and faith gives way.

Help us to trust in Your firm control;

Peace is our prayer, true peace our goal.

The hearts of rulers are in Your hand

to turn and guide at Your sure command. Lord, lead them into the paths of right,

and let the nations see Your light.

Lord, please grant to us peace in our time,

peace in our world, in our hearts and our minds.

And, Lord, we cast all our cares upon You

knowing Your promise is true:

A day will come when swords shall be laid down, the Prince of Peace shall wear the only crown.

All souls oppressed will find release

when war and hate forever and ever melt into peace. Lord, grant us peace.

Saints of God, Wake the Earth, Robert Leaf

Saints of God, wake the earth,

stir the land with joyful noise.

Rise and sing praise to God!

Let the world hear our cry;

Glory be to God on high.

Rise and sing praise to God!

Glory be to God. Alleluia! Praise to God!

Sounds of joy fill the air,

telling people ev'rywhere;

Rise and sing praise to God!

Saints of God, wake the earth,

stir the land with joyful noise.

Rise and sing praise to God!

Come, all saints, and make a joyful noise!

Glory be to God. Alleluia! Praise to God!

Saints of God, heed the call.

Saints of God, wake the earth,

stir the land with joyful noise.

Rise and sing praise to God!
