*HYMN 267                                  Glorious Things of Thee Are Spoken

*PRAYER OF INVOCATION AND LORDÕS PRAYER (Unison)

We praise you, O God, our Creator and Redeemer. We thank you for this day with its overarching goodness and grace that come from your hand. May this hour of worship be like streams in the desert that provide joy, beauty, and refreshment. We gather with a variety of experiences and expectations; even so, we are confident that you can hear the longings of our hearts. We worship you in adoration and praise. Your grace is near us in the calm and in the storm: We wait before you seeking to discern your holy will and desiring to be a faithful church of Jesus Christ, our Lord, who taught us to prayÉ

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;

and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.  Amen.
