and now God waits to break into our experience:
Liturgist: to change our
minds, to change our lives, to change our ways;
People: to make us
see the world and the whole of life in a new light;
Liturgist: to fill us with
hope, joy and certainty for the future.
People: This is the
place and this is the time!
All: Here
and now, let us praise God!
*HYMN (Insert) Come,
Thou Fount of Every Blessing
*PRAYER OF INVOCATION AND
LORDÕS PRAYER (Unison)
O God, confront us in
this hour of worship so that we might experience you more fully. Confront our
fears and confront our timid faith. Help us to know that we live amid your
abundance of love and amid your generosity of spirit. Open our hearts so that
we might receive your kingdom. Open our minds to the assurance of your
invisible presence among your visible creation. We ask this through Jesus
Christ
who taught us to pray,
sayingÉ
Our Father who art in
heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done, on
earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from
evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Go now in peace. Never be afraid. God will go with
you each hour of every day.
Go now in faith, steadfast, strong and true. Know
He will guide you in all you do.
Go now in love, and show you believe. Reach out to
others so all the world can see.
