*HYMN (Insert)                            Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing

*PRAYER OF INVOCATION AND LORDÕS PRAYER (Unison)

O God, confront us in this hour of worship so that we might experience you more fully. Confront our fears and confront our timid faith. Help us to know that we live amid your abundance of love and amid your generosity of spirit. Open our hearts so that we might receive your kingdom. Open our minds to the assurance of your invisible presence among your visible creation. We ask this through Jesus Christ

who taught us to pray, sayingÉ

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,

Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;

and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever.  Amen.
