God of love, Lord of creation, Source of life, we come together on this day to remember the one who has given us earthly life and to praise you for that gift. We acknowledge that all that is good comes from you and we praise you for the relationships that nurture and sustain us. As you have been faithful in loving us, demonstrating that love through Jesus, so make us faithful in bearing your love to the world in words and actions. The annual Election Meeting will be held Sunday, May 16, at 10 a.m. in the Social Hall. See the recent Congregationalist and Columns for the list of nominees. Children’s Sunday rehearsal will be held in the Nave during the meeting.

Adult Education – Today, join Paul Stein and the Sr. High Youth for a discussion on “Youth and the Common Good: Seeking Community in the Modern World.” Childcare is provided. Adult Ed will not meet on May 16, due to the Annual Meeting.

Circle 13 will meet in the Lounge, Monday, May 10 at 6:30 p.m. Come to sort, chat and snack!

The Men’s Church League Softball Team plays Tuesday, May 11, at 7:30 p.m. at Hart Park.

Circle 13 is collecting books for a Mother’s Day Children’s Book Drive to benefit the Sunday School program at Pilgrim Congregational Church. Bring new or gently used books for ages birth to 8^th grade. A collection box is in the atrium.

New Member classes will be held Sunday, June 9 at 9 a.m., Wednesday, June 9 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, June 13 at 9 a.m. New members will join on Sunday, June 20 at 10 a.m. Please sign up at the church office if you are interested.

A Career Seminar, featuring the newest and most effective techniques for job hunting, will be offered free of charge on Monday, June 14 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in the Lounge. Sign up at the church office.
