Glory Laud and Honor
All

To

The

Our
praise and prayer and anthems Before thee we present.
Thou
art the King of Israel, Thou DavidÕs royal son,
Who
in the LordÕs name comest, The King and Blessed One;
To
thee, before thy passion They sang their hymns of praise;
To
thee, now high exalted, Our melody we raise.
Thou
didst accept their praises; Accept the prayers we bring,
Who
in all good delightest, Thou good and gracious King.
All
glory, laud, and honor To thee, Redeemer, King,
To whom the lips of children Made sweet hosannas
ring! Amen.
*PRAYER OF THE DAY AND
LORDÕS PRAYER (unison)
Everlasting God, in
your tender love for the human race you sent your Son to take our nature, and
to suffer death upon the cross. In your mercy enable us to share in his
obedience to your will and in the glorious victory of his resurrection; through
Jesus Christ our Lord, who taught us to prayÉ
Our Father who art in
heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done, on
earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our
debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not
into temptation, but
deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the
glory, forever. Amen.

Prepare The Royal Highway
F.M. Franzen
Prepare the royal highway;
The King of kings is near!
Let every hill and valley
A level road appear!
Then greet the King of glory,
Foretold in sacred story:
Hosanna to the Lord,
For he fulfills God's Word!
Then fling the gates wide open
To greet your promised King!
Your king, yet every nation
Its tribute too may bring.
All lands will bow before him;
Their voices join your singing:
Hosanna to the Lord,
For he fulfills God's Word!
His is no earthly kingdom;
It comes from heaven above
His rule is peace and freedom
And justice, truth, and love.
So let your praise be sounding
For kindness so abounding:
Hosanna to the Lord,
For he fulfills Gods Word!
A King Came Riding By
Charlotte Lee
Through the dusty city, on a humble donkey, rode the King of Glory
by,
asking not for pity, pardon or compassion, knew that he had come
to die.
Sing hosanna, sing hosanna, Jerusalem, rejoice!
Your King has come, God's will be done, and heaven opens again.
Shouts of acclamation, cried a thousand voices, for to welcome
Christ, the Lord.
Great was their elation, for a brief duration, when salvation is
restored.
Sing hosanna, sing hosanna, Jerusalem, rejoice!
Your King has come, God's will be done, and heaven opens again.
Joy will turn to sorrow, at the midday hour, aware our Lord was
born to fall.
Crucified the morrow, on the hill of Calvary, Christ will die to
save us all.
Hosanna, hosanna, Jerusalem rejoice!
Hosanna, hosanna, a King came riding by hosanna!
