Song of Solomon 2:8-17
Song of Solomon 2:[8] The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills. [9] My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice. [10] My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. [11] For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; [12] The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; [13] The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away. [14] O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely. [15] Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes. [16] My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feedeth among the lilies. [17] Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.
Revised Standard Version (RSV)
Song of Solomon 2:8-17
Song of Solomon 2: [8] The voice of my beloved! Behold, he comes, leaping upon the mountains, bounding over the hills. [9] My beloved is like a gazelle, or a young stag. Behold, there he stands behind our wall, gazing in at the windows, looking through the lattice. [10] My beloved speaks and says to me: "Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away; [11] for lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone. [12] The flowers appear on the earth, the time of singing has come, and the voice of the turtledove is heard in our land. [13] The fig tree puts forth its figs, and the vines are in blossom; they give forth fragrance. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away. [14] O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the covert of the cliff, let me see your face, let me hear your voice, for your voice is sweet, and your face is comely. [15] Catch us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vineyards, for our vineyards are in blossom." [16] My beloved is mine and I am his, he pastures his flock among the lilies. [17] Until the day breathes and the shadows flee, turn, my beloved, be like a gazelle, or a young stag upon rugged mountains.

Song of Solomon 2:8-17
Song of Solomon 2:[8] Listen! My lover! Look! Here he comes, leaping across the mountains, bounding over the hills. [9] My lover is like a gazelle or a young stag. Look! There he stands behind our wall, gazing through the windows, peering through the lattice. [10] My lover spoke and said to me, "Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, and come with me. [11] See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. [12] Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land. [13] The fig tree forms its early fruit; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance. Arise, come, my darling; my beautiful one, come with me." [14] My dove in the clefts of the rock, in the hiding places on the mountainside, show me your face, let me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely. [15] Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom. [16] My lover is mine and I am his; he browses among the lilies. [17] Until the day breaks and the shadows flee, turn, my lover, and be like a gazelle or like a young stag on the rugged hills.( 1)
